I did not even have to look at the site on this one - this is screaming scam all over the place.
Remember that most states in the US require registration to hold raffles. Even with the proper legal jargon in place, I think this is a sure-fire winner of the “flag it” award

I have to disagree.
Different states have different rules; and I know for a fact that raffles are allowed in England without registration required; they fall under the Lotteries Act as such.
Mind you, sending spam is not a good sign.

This is why I stated that “most states in the US” require registration. I do not know about England.

With respect,
I actually spent some time checking our eraffle since it seemed to good to be true. Just like a lady auctioning the monster under her daughter’s bed on ebay, I wanted to validate here.
. And I learned several things. The company assured me that they lease lists and use proper procedures for sending email, not spam. I respect how they handled my quiry.
Secondly, it is an international platform that is focused primarily on marketing and advertising for companies and it is being beta tested. I have actually won free items and it is a neat site and concept. A more effective tool for marketing for business owners without the high cost.
Finally, I actually bought a ticket for some items that were being raffled and these raffles actually were given approval by lawyers representing the parties involved. Which underscores that “perceived public policy” is not what is fact in the end. The items being raffled were cancelled becuase they were posted too soon evidently.
hope this helps. I also hope this company is success helping charities raise funds. The real scam is the predators that help raise funds for charities but get paid “Well” doing so. They should be flagged.
take care
I like the idea.
